After talking through my progress so far including research and idea's with Sarah, I am confident in having enough research to begin experimenting and developing my idea's. I feel very excited about the thought of sourcing materials such as found objects and different technology and light sources to create accessories from. This is something I have touched on before during my own time, but have not really experimented with in such depths and using contrasts of materials, such as organic, found AND light / technology. As such this is a risk, but I am confident that the research I have found I can develop my own interpretations that can realistically be made.
Not wanting to leave 'design' behind within promotion, this is something I'm really looking forward to getting into.
I will now take on Sarah's advice with visiting Chesil beach, and other beaches such as Hengistbury head in search of interesting findings! and take my camera wherever I go!
As Sarah mentioned AUCB is in discussions at present on the topic of new technology specifically the use of projections. The subject of new technology within the creative industry seems to be very current.
Within Fashion as a Forum we are also discussing new ways technology is adapting, and have today each brought our new technology results forward. Projections, the use of light, 3D / 4D and networking tools and sites are the main technology's which are becoming more and more current in today's creative industry with new idea's expanding all the time.
